Brian Ackerman is a certified job-hopping millennial turned entrepreneur. He spent a decade in Washington, DC, advocating to improve young peoples’ access to sexual and reproductive health resources, studying higher education marketing and enrollment strategy, and developing innovative advertising solutions for universities and nonprofit organizations. Along the way, he did his graduate research in political geography at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro studying civic participation spaces in Brazil and the United States.
A YouTube-aholic and podcast lover, Brian launched Archetypal Media in 2016 with his sister Jen, a documentary producer, to produce compelling and effective short-form audio and video content. He’s committed to using short-form media to advance progressive politics, make people laugh, and encourage viewers to better understand themselves and their psyches. His hobbies are watching fail compilations and pug videos and researching archetypal symbolism in media trends.
